Got a reply from the open university today. It would seem im ok to make a start. I have probably about 18 months 2 years before i need to be in a job that would offer sponsorship.
If i cant get sponsorship in that time i can use the credits towards a different degree so it wont be wasted.
Next step speak to the ambulance service and make sure that they do offer sponsorship and which role would be most suited to get a foot in the door so to speak.
Also going to make a start on the first module plan to organise that in the next few days to start in september. Should finish that in january.
In the meantime carry on with the daily grind.
